Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

1. Personal Data

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to securely manage Your financial ledger parameters. Personally identifiable information includes:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name

2. Financial Tracking Data (Core Ledger Elements)

To provide the core functionalities of the application, the Service handles and processes bookkeeping calculations entered directly by You, including:

  • User Salary, Income updates, and related incoming streams.
  • Expense records (Standard, Child, and Other), category descriptors, and miscellaneous accounting transactional logs.
  • Note: The Application does not automatically scrape, read, or intercept your personal banking records or SMS feeds; all ledger data is entered manually by You.

3. Usage Data & Analytics

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This includes your Device ID, Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), unique device identifiers, operating system version, background performance diagnostics, and crash logs collected automatically via Google Firebase infrastructure analytics and crashlytics packages to maintain application stability.

4. Information Collected while Using the Application

While using Our Application, in order to provide advanced profile customization features, We may collect with Your explicit prior permission:

  • Pictures and other data from your Device's camera and photo library (solely for setting or capturing profile pictures locally or syncing them onto your authorized backup node).

How Your Data Is Processed (Local vs. Cloud Sync)

To preserve privacy, data processing is handled at two distinct operational layers:

  • Local Database Storage (Room Database Engine): Your immediate expense parameters, income allocations, graphs, and category tags are managed and stored securely on your local device storage inside a structured local Room Database block.
  • Cloud Infrastructure (Google Firebase Architecture): Your account authentication session credentials are securely mapped using Firebase Authentication. Your user metadata profiles and linked financial ledgers are synchronized remotely under unique identifier nodes inside the Firebase Realtime Database to allow seamless cross-device data recovery. All data transfers between the Application and Firebase endpoints are strictly enforced over secure HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ encrypted protocols.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company uses the collected data for the following essential purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service: Including monitoring ledger performance, computing financial chart graphs, and validating entries.
  • To manage Your Account: Validating your registry as an authenticated user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide gives You secure access to separate accounting database layers.
  • To secure data in transit: Mapping account instances to structural nodes so your privacy boundary cannot be breached by unauthorized third parties.
  • To contact You: Reaching you via email regarding essential security patches, service availability notices, or account validation updates.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your financial records or personal information to third-party data brokers, advertising networks, or corporate marketing entities.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the performance of the core application capabilities set out in this Privacy Policy. Your profile structures and transaction items are preserved across active session timelines until you explicitly execute a data removal request.

Absolute Right to Account & Data Deletion

We believe in full user data sovereignty. You have the right to delete your Personal Data and entire accounting footprint directly from within the Service at any time. Because your data is managed securely across both local and cloud layers, the application provides an instant, all-in-one deletion mechanism.

Method 1: In-App Account Destruction (Automated & Instant)

Our Application features a prominent, automated account destruction control panel. To delete your account, open the Navigation Drawer Menu from the home screen and tap the "Delete Account" tab. Once confirmed, the application executes an atomic, real-time, and irreversible deletion sequence:

  1. Atomic Local Storage Wipe (Room Database): The application instantly clears your local device database, completely wiping out all historical tables associated with your identity, including your registration data (user_register), daily expense entries (add_expense), miscellaneous expenses (add_other_expense), child-specific expenses (add_child_expense), income records (add_income), and cached analytical reporting graphs (graph_expense).
  2. Cloud Database Purge (Google Firebase Realtime Database): The application communicates via secure, encrypted API channels to permanently drop and erase your specific user node and all synchronized accounting backups from the Firebase cloud servers.
  3. Authentication Eviction (Google Firebase Authentication): Your active session tokens, primary email association, and secure login credentials are permanently stripped and deleted from the core Firebase Authentication servers.
  4. Local Session Reset: All cached shared preference variables and session states on your physical device are entirely cleared, logging you out completely.

Once you confirm the deletion inside the app, the process completes instantly. This action is permanent, and your financial data cannot be recovered or restored by the developer.

Method 2: Web-Based / Manual Deletion Request (Email Fallback)

In full compliance with Google Play's account deletion policies, users who no longer have the application installed on their device can request the permanent deletion of their account records by following these steps:

  • Send an explicit data removal request via email to our official developer support address: sainathhiwale2@gmail.com.
  • Please specify the registered email address associated with the synchronized profile.
  • Our team will manually purge your remote data structures from Firebase Authentication and Realtime Database platforms within 7 business days.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Law Enforcement & Legal Obligations

Under rare circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data only if required to do so by applicable laws or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities (e.g., a competent court or an authorized government agency in India).

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is our utmost priority. All transaction traffic processed through our Firebase components is forced via HTTPS/TLS network wrappers. While we utilize industry-standard mechanisms to isolate and guard your financial parameters, no method of digital transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute impenetrable security.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not knowingly address or target anyone under the age of 13. We do not deliberately gather personally identifiable information from children. If you become aware that a minor under your guard has submitted personal credentials to our database platforms, contact us immediately so we can execute an erasure cycle.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time to match changing Android requirements. We will notify You of modifications by posting the renewed layout on this page and updating the "Last updated" timestamp positioned at the header block.
